My Summer Reading

Some books that I've read lately are two novels by Jane Austin, Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte, a mystery by the ever wonderful John Bellairs, and I am now about 400 pages deep into Anna Kerenin. (Or Anna Kerenina depending on the translation) I definitely recommend Jane Austin's works to anyone who has an interest. My advice would be to look at her books as novels. Because that is what they are. Try not to expect some deep meaning of life out of it and go with the flow. And, keep your mind open to the subtle and not so subtle wit that made me laugh out loud reading the first page of Pride and Prejudice! It really makes the book enjoyable. John Bellairs' stories for children I would recommend to anyone, no matter what their age. His mysteries are a great combo of scariness and imagination!
